Good news! Tobii recently announced some exciting upcoming features and improvements to their Tobii Pro Glasses 2. Here’s what’s new:
New Feature: Sync
Tobii’s new sync solution enables you to synchronize eye tracking data with a broad spectrum of physiological data, including EEG, NIRS, skin conductance, motion detection, respiration rate, heart rate. What makes this different from other sync solutions is that you can use the hardware sync directly with the recording device, without the need to carry a laptop around.
The new sync capabilities will be available for Pro Glasses 2 customers through an upcoming firmware update.
New Accessory Package: Prescription Lenses
Previously the Tobii Pro Glasses 2 were not compatible with users who wear prescription eyeglasses. Tobii is now offering a Prescription Lenses accessory package containing snap-on corrective lenses for Pro Glasses 2. Great news for those who often encounter difficulties looking for users that are not wearing prescription eyeglasses. (Hint: Singapore)
New Upgrade: Wireless Upgrades
Tobii will be improving the range and stability of the Pro Glasses 2. Great news!
