Monash Business Behavioural Lab (MBBL) Technology and Research Opportunities

In 2013 a group of researchers from Monash University, Swinburne University of Technology and RMIT University (who were led by Professor Harmen Oppewal, Department of Marketing) were fortunate to be awarded an Australian Research Council LIEF (Linkage Infrastructure, Equipment and Facilities) Grant. The grant was used to fund behavioural research concerned with advanced exploration of the mind. It supported the purchase of: Tobii desktop machines and mobile Tobii eye tracking glasses; observer and facereader modules; shimmer skin galvanic sensors; neurosensors; eyelink eyetrackers; and various pieces of software to help with data analysis.

With much of the equipment purchased during 2014, the MBBL committee felt that it was a pertinent point in time to ‘re-launch’ the MBBL. Our objective of the re-launch is to make researchers aware of the new equipment that is available in the lab and the kinds of research it can be used to support. See the Program below.
